Wyandot County Recycling Center is looking to hire a full-time Education and Outreach Coordinator.
Duties will include:
- Create and present educational/marketing material regarding recycling, composting, conservation, waste reduction and natural resources. These presentations are given in classrooms and area community organizations for various age groups from children to adults.
- Update website information, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Create and promote material for events such as Earth Day, County Fair, Open House, and other events.
- Must have good record keeping, organizational and computer skills.
- Fulfill various reporting requirements.
- Prepare and give tours of the Recycling Center.
- Must be available to work off hours from time to time such as working at the County Fair booth or giving a presentation in the evening.
- Must work well independently and handle multiple tasks with or without supervision.
- Will be working with computer programs such as Canva, Power Point, Excel, Word, Quick Books, and Access.
- Seek out and write grants.
- This individual will cross-train, assist, and fill in for Administrative Assistant when necessary.
- Fulfill various reports requirements.
- Other duties and projects assigned.
