Friday Fun Fest is back for another community-wide evening of summer fun. Join Wyandot County Family & Children First Council and Wyandot County Public Health for one last blow-out before its time to head back to school.
👉 WHO: This event is free to the community. All ages are welcome.
👉 WHEN: 5-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 11, 2023.
👉 WHERE: Harrison Smith Park, 525 E. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky, OH.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
☀ 4:30-7 p.m. Car seat check: Wyandot County Public Health's car seat techs will check your car seats and boosters for proper installation. Drive up or schedule an appointment ahead of time by emailing Callan Pugh, .
☀ 5 p.m. Event kick-off with Wyandot County Prevention at the pool.
☀ 5-8 p.m. Touch-A-Truck: Check out local first responder vehicles up close.
☀ 6 p.m.-6:30 p.m. LifeFlight visit: Please note the visit it tentative as the helicopter may not be able to land if it is pulled away to an emergency.
☀ 5-8 p.m. Organization displays/giveaways open in the white shelter house.
☀ 5-8 p.m. Pool open for free swimming.
☀ 5-8 p.m. Free hot dogs and snow cones.
☀ 5:30 p.m. Drive Sober Kickoff event: Outland Insurance will speak about the effects of drunk driving on insurance costs.
☀ 5:30-6:30 p.m. Zero Proof Mix Off: After the Drive Sober Kick Off, local organizations will treat you to samples of their zero-proof drink recipes that you can create for your next party to accommodate designated drivers and those who wish to stay sober. Try them all and vote for your favorite!
